イギリスのケンブリッジに滞在中の２０２５年５月２２日、ホテルのチェックイン開始時刻までの時間を潰すために入場料無料のフィッツウィリアム美術館（The Fitzwilliam Museum）を見学しました。
フィッツウィリアム美術館の場所
フィッツウィリアム美術館はケンブリッジ中心街の南の辺りに位置しており、キングズカレッジやコーパスクリスティカレッジがある道を南に進むと右手にあります。
フィッツウィリアム美術館のチケット
フィッツウィリアム美術館は無料で見ることができるので、チケットは必要ありません。入り口を入るとそのまま見学することができます。
私が行った時は、入り口を入ると係りの人が入場者に対してフロアマップを配っていました。
フィッツウィリアム美術館の見どころ（独断と偏見で）
・建物自体（天井、壁など）が壮麗
・Edme-Adolphe Fontaine『Interior of an artist’s studio』（Gallery1 Interiors）
周りの絵と比べてもダントツで画素が細かかったです。
